Product 01 · Finline KYCLIVE

Onboarding interviews your officers lead and Finline runs.

Finline KYC turns account opening into a guided conversation. It asks for each document, reads it, checks it and asks the officer to confirm, one step at a time, in English, Sinhala or Tamil.

SUB-SERVICES

Account opening · Add guarantor

Guarantors are linked sub-requests on the same case. Personal-loan onboarding is next.

CUSTOMER UPLOAD LINK

No account. No login.

Customers drag and drop JPG, PNG or PDF (up to 10 MB each) from their phone. Files land in the officer’s case with progress and preview.

HANDOFF

Three doors out

Export approved fields and files as a zip, send to verification, or send to core banking after a confirmation dialog.

The interview

Five steps to an open account.

Finline requests one thing, processes it, then moves on. It never asks for a document the step doesn’t need.

1

Identity

NIC or driving licence, front and back. Both sides may be in one file. Name, ID number and address are extracted; the officer confirms each.

2

Contact

Phone number and email, entered once and validated.

3

Address proof

A utility bill issued within 3 months. Older bills are rejected; a name or address that doesn’t match the ID is flagged.

4

Purpose & funding

Purpose of the account and source of funds, recorded in the customer’s words.

5

Final review

A recap of every confirmed field. Then export, send to verification, or send to core banking.

Behaviour rules

Strict on purpose.

The assistant’s rules are written down and enforced. They are the reason your compliance team can trust the record.

One step at a time

Request → process → next. No batch guessing.

Only the requested document

A wrong or extra file is not processed; Finline asks for the right one.

Every value explicitly confirmed

A field is “approved” only after the officer confirms it in the chat. Corrections are accepted and re-confirmed.

A high bar for documents

Blur, glare, shadow, missing corners or an unreadable PDF: rejected, with the specific reason.

Confidence-gated extraction

Extracted text is shown only when confidence is very high. Otherwise the officer types it.

Translations confirmed

Sinhala or Tamil IDs are translated to English; the officer confirms the translation before it is recorded, or uses a driving licence instead.

Stays on task

Off-topic requests and prompt-injection attempts are ignored. The interview is the only job.

The workspace

Everything the officer needs, on one screen.

Streaming chat with the assistant, where documents are dropped and values confirmed.

Case details panel showing every field and file as pending, processing, approved or rejected, updating live.

Request history for past cases; a new request clears the session and starts clean.

Three languages: interview in English, සිංහල or தமிழ்.

PENDING

Not yet requested or provided.

PROCESSING

Being read; a progress bar and preview appear per file.

APPROVED

Confirmed by the officer, with name and time.

REJECTED

Refused with a specific reason; a replacement is requested.

Who decides

The officer remains the final authority.

Finline extracts and flags. It never approves a value on its own.
The officer confirms or corrects. Every approval carries their name.
Core banking receives only confirmed records, after one more confirmation dialog.
